Contestant's Choice: Favourite Singer's Song!

What is it about Raja that captivated the public so deeply?  Why are people so drawn to this shy, coy young man from Bikaner, Rajasthan???  Well, aside from having the most incredibly, divine voice, it is the words of wisdom that he came out with, which put him unto a class of his own.  After this phenomenal song had finished, and after a bit of playful banter, one of the judges (Ismail Darbar) asks Raja how much of the audience consist of his family members and Raja answers with such a sweet, sincere and dignified answer, he states; 'the whole country is my home...they are all voting for me, the whole world is my home.'  I was very moved by this answer, it was very poetic, and heartfelt.  All of the judges then proceeded to give Raja the maximum number of points - 10 points each, for his mind blowing performance!

But, Raja hadn't finished weaving his magic just yet.  Another judge, Himesh Reshammiya asks him, what would he do if he won the song contest and Raja answers with; ' I swear to God, that winning or losing doesn't bear any significance to me, I just want to sing, I want to sing for my country, and my world, until my last dying breath....'  Wow!!!

Then Himesh asks him, what will he do for his home town of (Rajasthan) if he wins this contest and Raja simply answers; 'What can I do for them? - They are the ones who have done so much for me, bringing me onto this international platform.'  Everyone was amazed by this young wonder kid and it wasn't just the wisdom that people fell in love with, it was the genuine love and sincerity that exuded from his character and being....That is why I call him an 'anmol heera' - (priceless gem,) because he is just an incredible human being and I promise that I will try my best to do, all that I can in my power, to support his career and talent, because he deserves to achieve greatness!!!
