'Subah Subah' marked Raja Hasan's debut on Saregamapa 2007.  Raja entered Saregamapa 2007 initially as part of the 'Eklavya' Gharana (house) which was a "reserved force" of eight singers. The exact purpose of this Gharana was not mentioned during the initial days of the show but, soon it was determined that it was a cleverly designed concept, that basically prevented a Gharana from getting eliminated in the initial rounds. The contestants in this 'Eklavya' Gharana performed on the second episode of the show (as shown above.)  Then each week, from then on, two contestants had to prove their singing abilities, before they were allowed to be selected into a permanent Gharana (house) and they replaced any of the contestants who were eliminated from the previous week.

Considering that Raja was allocated less than one minute to shine, I think that he sang this pop song beautifully but, it wasn't enough to leave you speechless/in awe, but, don't worry - it was early days yet and Raja had only just BEGUN to show us, his 'jadoo' (magic.)
